The Gayan Family

Would you believe that when I first worked with the Gayan family, that cute smiley older boy wanted NOTHING to do with me? I pulled out every trick in the book - dancing, singing, puppets, snacks, stuffed animals, tickles… but as a one year old, he was not giving in to our crazy antics! Several years later, he’s decided I’m an OK person and we have fun chatting and goofing off together.

I have watched this family grow from a family of 3 to a family of 5, and I’ve spent a lot of time putting a camera in their faces over those years. We’ve done numerous family sessions, two extended family sessions, and this past year, I did my second newborn session as they welcomed their newest little boy. I can tell I’m a boy mom because holding this tiny little man made my heart pitter patter just a little bit. I can’t wait to see how he grows and changes over the next few years… and to see if he is as stoic with me when he turns one…
